AT first I was going to just paint the cherub on the planet and a simple dark sky with some stars... My original thought was the cherub is crying for America (USA)...
Later I added 2 Nebulas or costellations: Orion to the left and Andromeda to the right. Then I thought I needed some colors to balance on the bottom and made some light behind the Earth on the lower right.
The Scripture I Corinth. 2:9 "Eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which GOD has prepared for them who love Him" came to mind and decided to write it around the earth... without preplanning it...
I guess it ties in with the idea... that the cherub cries because people DON'T KNOW what they are missing by not LOVING GOD first and many people on Earth are suffering in every country !
